Bethel AIS Students Emerge The Yale Young African Scholars
The Yale Young African Scholars Program (YYAS) is a highly academic and leadership training program for secondary school students from Africa with the aptitude, motivation, and creativity to make significant contributions as young leaders even before they start university studies.
Participants in the YYAS program will attend lectures given by eminent Yale faculty members, seminars created by Yale student instructors, and hands-on activities to improve their leadership abilities. They also take advantage of free standardized test preparation sessions and free Yale student-led courses, leadership training, and introductions to university application procedures.
