ACADEMICS

Bethel AIS combines Nigerian and American Curricula to provide an excellent education for students. These curricula include English and Spoken English classes, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, History, Geography and Religious Education for students ages 10-18. Extracurricular Activities in Bethel AIS

Bethel American International School offers students a diverse range of extracurricular activities designed to help them develop academically and socially. These include sports teams such as soccer, badminton, table tennis, rugby, basketball, and volleyball; arts groups such as drama or music; clubs dedicated to various interests, including robotics; special interest groups such as book clubs or chess clubs; field trips to museums or other sites of interest around the world; religious services held regularly throughout the school year at 10 am on Sunday

PRESS CLUB

Students in all grades have a priceless opportunity to explore and expand their creative literary abilities through the Press club. The Press Club is aimed at encouraging students to use their reading, writing, speaking, and representational skills and abilities by having them engage in conversations, discussions, and writing about chosen topics.

MUSIC CLUB

One of Bethel AIS's biggest and most well-known clubs is the music club. The music club coaches its members in various musical performance styles and trains them to play multiple instruments, such as the piano, drums, guitars, and saxophone.

DRAMA CLUB

Drama has shown to be a very effective method for informing and influencing people over the years in the existence of the human race. The Bethel AIS drama club tends to nurture to blossom the intrinsic acting skills of its members.

Student Representative Council (SRC)

At Bethel AIS, we are committed to raising impactful leaders. The Student Representative Council is a group for students who are appointed by their classmates to represent all students within the school. Here our students learn the ideal act of politicking, hence reciprocating the model to the world

SPORT CLUB

The sports club comprises a variety of sports like Football, Basketball, Table tennis, Badminton, and Rugby. The club aims to instill the spirit of sportsmanship, a desire for all-around wellness, and a proper sense of work-life balance.

Bethel American International Model United Nations (BAIMUN)

Our students take the roles of delegates and speakers, representing different countries and working with other students from diverse backgrounds to participate in discussions and reach a solution for their assigned agenda.

JETS CLUB

The Junior Engineers, Technicians, and Scientists (JETS) group is an affiliate of the federal and state ministries of education. This organization aims to teach students how science and technology advancements affect the nation.

All students interested in science and technology are welcome to join this club. The club's objectives are to make members aware of the growing significance of science, inspire an interest in scientific inquiry, and help students gain the necessary laboratory and technical skills.

Debate club/Public Speaking

At Bethel AIS, public speaking is a compulsory research course for our tenth graders. Nonetheless, the debate and the public speaking club aim to support students in the growth of their capacity for critical analysis and the confident expression of informed ideas on domestic and global concerns. Also, it teaches students the fundamentals of debate and the hallmarks of a competent debater.
