Bethel American International School's students are the most successful team in the world at winning
the Trust for Sustainable Living competitions that are held annually for all international students. The students have won fourteen finalist medals in international competitions. Most students have also been recognized as Honorable Mentions since Bethel AIS joined TSL in 2018. Our first honorable mention is Jeminipe Fasheun Motesho, while other honorable mentions are Oluwanishola Lawal, Oluwajuwonlo Olaoluwakiitan, Eniola Zadok Olaobaju, Folarin Bezalel Olaobaju, Gold Uzoamaka, and Olamide Mesele.
Presently, Bethel AIS has the highest number of TSL finalists in Nigeria. Among these finalists are Timilehin Solaja, Femi Akin-Ojo, Ifeoluwatomi Cyril-Olutayo, Ebijuwa Oritsejolomi, Deborah Ayodele, Roberts Emmanuel, Afolabi Toluwalase, Abisola Samuel, Iteoluwakiishi Rowland, Anabel Ajose, Oreofeoluwa George Solanrin, Adewale Adeyemi, Abraham Abia, and Tobi Adesanmi.
In addition, Adewale Adeyemi emerged as the best overall finalist in Team 4 in the year 2022. He also represented Nigeria in the TSL International Debates of 2022.
Our students continue to emerge as TSL finalists because Bethel AIS and the TSL-BethelAIS coordinator, Mr. Samson Owolabi, encourage them to know how to sustain their environment.
Trust for Sustainable Living International Student Essay Competition is an annual competition open to all students worldwide between the ages of 7 to 18. TSL judges award medals based on originality and creativity and give more attention to fact-based narratives in students' entries and their abilities to synthesize valid points at the national or international debate.
